I opened my week old Mac mini yesterday for the first time. Kind of a scary process - sticking an old putty knife in the side of this sweet little computer and prying it open. It went well, though, and I swapped out the stock 256 MB DIMM for a 512 I had for another - bigger and louder, PC-ish - computer. I probably will still go to 1 GB of memory, but for now the 512 seems to be more than adequate.
